r. Coleman works with adult individuals and couples. In addition to specializing in relationship and marital issues, he is an expert in the treatment of anxiety disorders such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Panic Disorder, Agoraphobia, and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

Relationship Therapy: Many couples who are motivated can make substantial improvements in their relationship using brief-therapy techniques. As the author of numerous books on marriage and relationships, Dr. Coleman is uniquely qualified to assist couples in strengthening their relationships.

EMDR Therapy: EMDR is a revolutionary and highly regarded treatment for the resolution of traumatic memories. It is also a useful tool in the resolution of memories that are considered to be disturbing but not necessarily traumatic. Often, clients notice improvement in one to three sessions with EMDR.

Individual Therapy: This is useful for anybody wishing to make improvements in any number of areas such as overcoming depression, improving self-esteem, reducing fear, and coping with grief and loss.

Grief Counseling: Dr. Coleman also specializes in issues related to loss and grief. When appropriate, he is quite comfortable discussing spiritual issues. He has a particular interest in metaphysics and research about life after death and intuition. He is the author of Where the Balloons Go, a children’s fiction story designed to help children cope with the loss of a loved one.

Phone Consultations: Some people who do not live in close proximity to Dr. Coleman's office may wish to have telephone consultations. These consultations are not a form of treatment or psychotherapy but are an opportunity to ask questions and receive specific suggestions and feedback. Topics often include relationship concerns, questions related to information in his books, anxiety, grief, and intuitive development. Arrangements for a telephone consultation can be made in advance by contacting the office.

Fees: Most insurance accepted. Copayments might be required. Please contact the office for a list of current fees if you are paying without insurance. Insurance is not used for phone consultations.

Hours: Dr. Coleman has daytime and evening hours available as well as Saturday morning hours. Please contact the office. (845) 297-6198
